Angelin Prejlocaj was born in 1957, within the Paris suburbs, to an Albanian household who had immigrated to France. The “Pavillon Noir” (Black Pavilion)

In 1996, he moved to Aix-en-Provence. The ballet Prejlocaj turns into the Nationwide Choreographic Centre of Aix-en-Provence.
